As writers, we bring life to the imagination, to memory, to the sounds and smells and images inside in our minds, capturing it all in language to create, “Life on the Page.” On Saturday, November 16, the Indiana Writers Center will present its annual Gathering of Writers—guaranteed to spark ideas and insights that will bring new life to your work and provide opportunities to meet and connect with other Indiana writers.
Join us at the Indiana Landmarks Center when Indiana's best established and emerging writers will meet for a full day of classes on the writing craft, featuring keynote Chistopher Coake. Award-winning authors from around the state will share their expertise and discuss their experiences as working writers. Don't miss it!
This year’s Keynote speaker is fiction writer Christopher Coake. A Hoosier native, Coake is is the author of the novel You Came Back (2012) and the collection of short stories We’re in Trouble (2005), which won the PEN/Robert Bingham Fellowship and the 2012 recipient of the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Emerging Indiana Author Award.
