Jenny Browne is the author of two full collections of poems, and one chapbook. Her poems have appeared in numerous literary journals including AGNI, American Poetry Review, Bat City Review, Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, Gulf Coast, Puerto del Sol, Threepenny Review and Tin House. She has received fellowships in creative writing from the Writers League of Texas, the San Antonio Artist Foundation, and the Writers Center of Washington D.C. Her work has been featured on public buses in Austin, Texas, in the Modern Love column of the New York Times, and on-stage at the Dallas Museum of Art. In the summer of 2011, she was selected by the University of Iowa International Writers Program and the U.S. State Department to travel to the Dadaab Refugee Camp in Kenya to teach poetry in the camp's secondary schools.
