Memoir Programs: Telling the Story of Your Life

The Indiana Writers Center believes that everybody has a story worth telling, and our memoir classes and projects are designed to help people of all ages and background to tell theirs, using a curriculum that helps them identify meaningful moments, see them in their mind’s eyes, and bring them alive on the page in vivid, compelling scenes.

Classes are taught by a variety of IWC instructors and, occasionally, by guest teachers who specialize in memoir. Projects serve particular audiences, such as senior citizens, veterans, juvenile offenders, and special needs moms.
