“So long as you write what you wish to write, that is all that matters; and whether it matters for ages or only for hours, nobody can say. ”
-- Virginia Woolf, A Room of One's Own

The largest obstacle between the desire to write and actually doing it is usually not lack of time, but lack of permission—and a deadline. Writing Women—a hybrid between a class and a writing group—will address both of these issues. We’ll meet twice a month to write together from prompts and share our nonfiction work created outside of class (if desired). Feedback will focus on identifying each work’s strengths and addressing the author’s specific questions and concerns, and the instructor will provide additional manuscript feedback outside of class. Enrollment is limited to 10.
