Welcome to the Writers’ Center of Indiana’s “Writing Workshop on the Web.” Here you’ll find a rationale for teaching creative writing, creative writing exercises from some of Indiana’s best writers, links to other creative writing resources on the web, information about how to organize a successful author visit, and news about literary “happenings” in Indianapolis, central Indiana, and throughout the state—and more.
If you’d like to share your own tried-and-true tips on teaching creative writing and/or share lessons that have worked for you, please send them in an attached Word document to barbarashoup@indianawriters.org, along with your permission to use them. If something cool is happening in your area, let us know—and we’ll spread the word.
