With Featured Poet

Terry Kirts

Followed by Refreshments, Book Selling and Signing and an Open Mic Reading.

Terry Kirts is both a poet and a gastronome extraordinaire. He is a senior lecture in the Department of English at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, where he directs the Rufus & Louise Reiberg Reading Series, and is a contributing editor for food and dining at Indianapolis Monthly. His culinary reviews and articles have been published widely in local and national publications, and he appears weekly as the radio host in “Foodie on Duty” on B105.7 discussing the central Indiana food scene.

Kirts’s publications include his book To the Refrigerator Gods, published by Seven Kitchens Press in 2010.

His poems have appeared in journals and anthologies, including Alimentum, Another Chicago Magazine, Gastronomica, Green Mountains Review, And Know This Place: Poems of Indiana, and St. Peter's B-list: Contemporary Poems Inspired by the Saints.

Unfortunately, Terry is out of copies of his book, and his publisher wasn't able to produce any more copiesby this date. He might have some postcards with poems for sale or just to give away.
