We’re bringing you a jam-packed Barb’s Banned Books book club for Banned Books Week!

Join us at KVML to discuss Barb’s own Banned Book, Wish You Were Here, as well as John Green’s, Looking for Alaska. While both books are considered Young Adult literature, both have been banned or challenged in public schools for containing “adult” themes.

For perspective on book banning from a local writer with personal experience, join us at 6 pm at KVML to talk about why books for young adults are often among the most challenged.
This event is free and open to the public!

For more info on our Banned Books Week programming go to www.vonnegutlibrary.org/events/bannedbooksweek/ or email us at info@vonnegutlibrary.org.

If you are interested in joining this FREE one-of-a-kind book club, sign up here so that we know how many will be participating. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/barbs-banned-books-banned-books-week-edition-tickets-36934199184?aff=erelpanelorg
