The class is appropriate for published and unpublished memoir writers. Whether you are writing to preserve your personal story for your family or you are writing to sophisticated literati, your memoir should have a theme and purpose beyond duplicating diary entries. The class will help you to find and develop the theme of your memoir and to offer your readers deeper meaning than reading a journal. How to avoid being sued for libel and defamation and different opportunities for publication will be discussed.
