Ross Gay is the author of three books: Against Which; Bringing the Shovel Down; and Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude, winner of the 2015 National Book Critics Circle Award and the 2016 Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award. Catalog was also a finalist for the 2015 National Book Award in Poetry, the Ohioana Book Award, the Balcones Poetry Prize, the Hurston-Wright Legacy Award, and it was nominated for an NAACP Image Award. The Book of Delights, is forthcoming from Algonquin Press in February 2019.
Master Class: “Making a Way Together” The Master Class is filled to Capacity
In this three-hour generative poetry workshop, we will stoke our imaginations by (often collaboratively) writing and making a way together, exploring new approaches of looking at our connection to each other and the world.
The master class, with National Book Award Nominee Ross Gay, will be held on the afternoon of the Gathering at the same time as the afternoon breakout sessions. You must register in advance to attend, and all master class registrations include registration for the Gathering of Writers.
Members $85, Nonmembers $150
