Jim Naremore began his creative and fiction writing practice by writing screenplays in the 1980’s. His debut novel, “The Arts of Legerdemain as Taught by Ghosts (Belle Lutte Press, 2016)” was awarded an Independent Publisher Book Award in the category “Best First Novel” in 2017. His short fiction can be found in numerous journals on line and in print, including Thrice, Emrys, Typehouse and The Offbeat. He writes at the behest of all those people milling about in his head who all seem to want something from him.
