Natalie Solmer

Natalie Solmer is a poet who majored in horticulture and minored in creative writing (why not?) as an undergrad at Clemson University. While at Clemson, she was a reader for Semantics, Clemson’s on campus literary magazine. After many years of working as a florist, she earned her MFA in poetry from Butler University, where she served as a reader for Butler’s literary journal, Booth. In the past few years, she has gotten into a healthy routine of submitting to literary journals, and has been racking up publications of work in places such as: Willow Springs, Dunes Review, Chicago Quarterly Review, The Louisville Review, The Fem, and forthcoming from Cimarron Review.
