This is the year you write your book. Sound daunting? It doesn’t need to be if you create a routine that not only builds on your inspiration but takes into account your lifestyle and personality. We will spend the first 1/3 of this 2 1/2-hour class discussing the creative process and what might be getting in the way of your book project. We’ll spend time considering attitudes and approaches to help you embrace your most creative self, and then we’ll do some exercises to help you brainstorm your book. Even if you don’t have an idea in mind, I’m going to give you some questions to consider that may help generate ideas for a book-length project. This course will also be beneficial if you are currently at work on a project. Lastly we’ll talk nuts and bolts about the craft of writing and what to do once you have a draft. At the conclusion of this class you will be ready to begin your project with the excitement and know-how that will not only help you write your book, but make sure you finish it.
