When I moved to Indiana, I discovered IWC and found a welcoming space to grow as a writer and become a published author. Their workshops, classes, and encouragement gave me the confidence to submit my nonfiction story (“Divine Intervention onThanksgiving Eve”) which was published in Chicken Soup for the Soul’ October, 2025 edition, “Tales of Christmas”. I continue to write nonfiction and fiction short stories and hope to one day have an invitation to teach and inspire others through IWC, too.
