Sometimes it’s just good to get back to the basics and discuss, in depth, the component parts of prose. A lot of us get bogged down in the task of transmuting our own ideas into narrative, believing that complete stories just fall out of us after repeated invocations to the muse.

This is the second part of two generative workshops that hope to demystify the process of story-making from the ground up by devoting a lot of studio time for creating content, as well as peer-to-peer discussion.

March 18 focused on the craft elements of character, setting, plot and dialogue.

April 1 will focus on Language, Style, Voice and Point of View, and using Symbolism in your writing and can be taken as a stand alone class.

Participants interested in all forms of narrative, at all levels of experience, are welcome.
