This class is for you if you want to learn more about how to develop either an author and writer blog or if you want to learn more about how to develop a blog that is a space to write more about a variety of topics (for example: lifestyle blog with topics on gardening, home improvements, etc). We will cover strategies for how to stay focused within your selected point of view and how to develop a blog around it.
You will learn how to create a website from scratch on WordPress, including how to find the right template for your subject, how to make different pages, how to create and schedule posts, tips on creating key words for your post, and also figuring out what in the world to write about regularly.
Finally, we will talk about all things social media and what it means for you as a writer. We will talk about how to use platforms like Twitter to help generate traffic to your blog. I will also briefly talk about other platforms like Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook for writers and how much is too much social media.
