This workshop is all about rediscovering the joy that you once felt when you first started writing the novel that now sits abandoned and ignored on your computer’s hard drive or inside of the shoebox underneath your bed. We will do exercises that will help to make your characters interesting again AND make your plot so riveting that the only thing you will imagine doing once this workshop is complete is rushing back home and writing until you drop. The first half of the class will focus on discovering your characters voice and identity and the second half will focus on plotting like the masters. If you only have an idea for a novel, this class will work for you, too.
