We go back to our routines, carrying pieces of it with us whether it’s notes from a workshop, a conversation about revision still sitting with us, and lingering inspiration.

We’ve been thinking about how to keep that feeling going.

So we made something.

We’re launching The Gathering, by Mail, a monthly mailing of poems, short prose, and small, thoughtful extras, sent to your mailbox.

Something simple and real.

A way to stay connected to the spirit of the Gathering throughout the year.

Each month, you’ll receive:

• a small selection of writing (poetry, essay, hybrid work)
• a short letter from us
• a simple extra (a bookmark, a print, something to keep)
• a writing prompt

It’s meant to be opened with your morning coffee, at the end of the day, or whenever you need a quiet moment.

This is also one of the ways you can support the work we do.

• continue building our literary community
