You are given intriguing writing prompts—a word or phrase or concept. Inspired by the prompts, you write for a period of time. Those who want to may share their work aloud. The teacher and students offer comments of an encouraging nature. Then you do it again. You turn off the inner critic and just let yourself go—high, low, good, bad. It doesn’t matter. The ideas flow and the freshest writing emerges. This unique group-writing experience will charge your engine and send you zooming into a good writing space with plenty of writing ideas to turn into longer works.
